Davor Sanvincenti multimedijski je umjetnik. Intenzivno se bavi područjem fenomenologije audiovizualnog i antropologijom vizualne kulture. Njegovo se umjetničko djelovanje grana u razne medije: film i video, fotografija, fizičke svjetlosne i zvučne instalacije te audiovizualni performansi. U radovima se bavi konceptom iluzije, istražujući moguće granice percepcije te konstrukcije iskustva. Dobitnik je mnogih nagrada, među kojima „Radoslav Putar“ (2010.) za najboljeg umjetnika do 35 godina, T-HT nagrade pri Muzeju suvremene umjetnosti (2008. i 2017.) i nagrade Oktavijan za najbolji eksperimentalni film (DHF 2018.). Izlagao je na brojnim međunarodnim izložbama i festivalima, poput: Device Art Triennale, Montreal; 28. Davor Sanvincenti is a multimedia artist. He is intensively engaged in the field of audiovisual phenomenology and the anthropology of visual culture. His artistic activity branches out into various media: film and video, photography, physical light and sound installations, and audiovisual performances. In his works, he deals with the concept of illusion, exploring the possible limits of perception and the construction of experience. He is the winner of many awards, including the Radoslav Putar (2010) for the best artist under 35, the T-HT award at the Museum of Contemporary Art (2008 and 2017), and the Oktavijan award for the best experimental film (DHF 2018). Priče koje se isprepleiću između vizualnog, slušnog i iskazanog govore o gubitku, traženju, prisutnpsti, budnosti, odgovornosti, iščekivanju i slobodi.
Places we Will Breathe is a visual essay that advocates imagination through a travelogue of constructed and anonymous landscapes, and is in a a way a note about the future. The stories that interweave between the visual, the auditory and the expressed speak of loss, search, presence, vigilance, responsibility, anticipation and freedom.
